neoprene

neoprene or polychloroprene is a family of synthetic rubbers that are produced by polymerization of chloroprene. neoprene exhibits good chemical stability, and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range. it is used in a wide variety of applications, such as laptop sleeves, orthopedic braces, electrical insulation, liquid and sheet applied elastomeric membranes or flashings, and automotive fan belts.

these 'mirage' neoprene shoes are velcro fastened and reinforced with elastic around the heel. they are a classic water shoe, although there aren't any written rules to say this is gospel. i think they should be rocked out in the street equally as often.

no need to worry about melbournes wet weather approaching, these mirage neoprenes have got me covered......temporarily.
